That old 2016, eh?

As the year draws to a close and so far nobody famous has died today, I thought it would be a good time to round up a little of what's happened here at South in 2016, because there's nothing we all enjoy more than admin, right?
We've been lucky enough to have a load of great bands play, both local and from further afield, in chronological order, here's who we had come and play in the shop:
Mystery Jets, MG Boulter, Steve Hooker, Apostille, Phill Jupitus (DJ), Matt Battle, The Bellybuttons, Asylums, The Ears Of Xeno Group, Diamond Family Archive, Calvin Johnson, Ultimate Painting, Muertos, Saint Leonard's Horses and The Faux
With more to come in 2017. Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook, or sign up to our mailing list for more info and to hear first
We also announced our albums of the year list the other week, so to go along with that, here's our top 5 sellers of 2016:
We're off to party like it's 1999...when everybody we liked was still alive.  Thanks for shopping with us, coming to our in-stores, our gigs, or generally being supportive, we do appreciate it.  Happy New Year!
