'Jaded and Faded' by Cerebral Ballzy is the band's sophomore studio release, which follows 2011's self-titled record. The album was recorded at Sonic Ranch outside of El Paso, Texas. 'Jaded and Faded' is produced by David Sitek (TV on the Radio). The album is way more melodic and polished. it explores more of a skate-punk sound, with rollicking guitar chords, a greater range of rhythms and harmonies, and the noticeable sheen offered by a high-end studio. Yet despite the poppy sound, the band maintains a punkish sense of subversion with especially cutting lyrics.
