During this hiatus, Bill Doss also recorded parts of \"Garden of Light\" in various home studios in Athens, Georgia. In 2009, the band reunited and quickly began recording music for a third studio album. After Doss died in 2012, Hart confirmed that the third album's material has been recorded and that it would be the band's final album. Hart died on November 29, 2024. On the same day as his death, the band released the album's first two singles.
