Released in 1984 the 'Las Vegas Story' was possibly the most complete and unrushed Gun Club LP again to be released on Animal records. Produced by Jeff Eyrich this LP saw the band experiment more with covering show tunes like Gershwin's 'My Man's Gone Now' and a killer take on Pharoah Sander 'The Creator Has a Master Plan'. Yet another raved about LP in the press the 'Las Vegas Story' was the icing on the cake in the Gun Club's early carrier.
