Richard in the age of the corporation

The Reds, Pinks and Purples’ The Past is a Garden I Never Fed gathers a set of previously digital-only tracks; bittersweet vignettes full of irony, pathos, and chiming indie-pop. With nods to TV Personalities and The Feelies, the songs feel like half-forgotten conversations replayed in dreamy detail. Allen Toussaint’s 1970 album, Toussaint, gets a welcome reissue—slick, sly, and soaked in New Orleans soul. Big Special’s National Average is raw and cathartic, a shout-along blast of working-class rage and sharp-tongued poetry., which we have as a very limited Dinked Edition.

We've had a lot of disparate collections in lately - from rare soul and jazz-funk, to progjazzindie, and a stack of first pressings from Fugazi (and a 1987 pressing of the Minor Threat collection). All of these are in the shop, and online, now.
