It’s a quieter week for new releases, but we’ve had some great re-stocks land - Relatively Clean Rivers (read about that below), Sonic Youth, Minutemen, Black Flag, Carol Woods, Betty Harris, etc, and there are still a few new ones worth your attention. Fontaines DC's 2024 LP, Romance - their most expansive record yet - is now available as a bonus edition with extra tracks that push their sound into bold new territory. All Smiles Tonight is the debut from Poor Creature, an intimate, slow-burning set of alt-folk songs from members of The Weather Station and Lido Pimienta’s band. Alex G’s Headlights is a gorgeous, surreal new album of twelve songs, his major label debut, and a further step into the reality-bending songwriting that’s made him such a singular voice.
