Arguably New Order's finest moment, the last year of the 80's was a fine time for this seminal Manchester band. Whilst brilliant in parts, previous studio albums never had the cohesion and sense of purpose as Technique, driven by a relentless club ethic honed on the shores and floors of Ibiza, and brought back home by the familiar nudge toward the era defining sound of Manchester indie and the Hacienda.
