Physical Closed Online Always Open

For the first time in our history we're going to be closing the doors for longer than a day. This is a real kick in the teeth for us as you can probably imagine. We're a small shop, selling a relative luxury, in a small town. Selling records is a precarious business at the best of times. We understand everybody's in a tricky position and records are not at the forefront of your mind, but we believe we're doing some good things here, and hopefully you also see some merit in what we do. South Christmas Party w/ Modern Nature (live)

We're delighted to welcome Modern Nature, one of our favourite new bands, to Southend for our Christmas Party.It'll be taking place in the downstairs main bar at the Railway Hotel, Southend. Free entry, from 8pm.Modern Nature – the name taken from the title of Derek Jarman’s garden diaries – is the new project of Jack Cooper, ex of Ultimate Painting / Mazes and Will Young of Beak featuring Aaron Neveu of Woods and Sunwatchers’ Jeff Tobias on saxophone.
