Glasgow-based Becoming Real (aka Toby Ridler) will release his full debut album, ‰Û÷Pure Apparition‰۪, via Transgressive Records.
After losing a nearly finished version of the LP in a disastrous hard drive crash, Becoming Real started again: four years later, the resulting record sees the young producer expanding upon his playful, post-grime sonic soundscapes and venturing further in to techno-orientated territory.
Previously, Becoming Real has supported Grimes, Mount Kimbie, SBTRKT and Salem; collaborated with Trim and Jamie Woon; and released music on the GETME, Tough Love Records, RAMP Recordings and Moshi Moshi labels.
