The lady herself is responsible for co-producing this posthumous release in conjunction with Nero's Neptune, drawing for seven songs that Hasil sent her during their courtship towards the end of his life. There are the sort of rattlin', screechin' numbers you'd expect from the man, as with the raucous 'Play Pretty', the uptempo bop 'Got A Girl In Minnesota' and the maelstrom of 'Eggs & Bacon' as written by Amy. But it's the romantic croon and heart-tugging chord changes on 'Endlessly' or the the slow devotional 'I Dreamed About Amy Last Night' that will surprise and delight many who think they know Hasil Adkins.
