Originally released on cassette in 2019, this early collection from Baltimore's Smashing Times captures the band before their acclaimed later records, collecting home-recorded songs from the Come Along With Me era that never found a place on subsequent releases. Blending jangly indie pop, homespun folk-rock and off-kilter art-pop charm, these wonderfully unpolished recordings offer a fascinating glimpse at a band already brimming with melody, imagination and DIY spirit.
